                                     c.1672    Thomas Gowlett is estimated born around 1672 very likely the son or kin of  Robert Gowlett [1623-1686] 
                                                    of Uxbridge and his wife Dorcas nee Parnes.  Investigation imply that there was only one Gowlett Family

                                                    Whilst there has been no entry found to date for the burial of his wife Mary, certainly Thomas remarried

                                                                        According to a Family Tree submitted anonomyously submitter, left at the Hillingdon Family History Society, 
                                                                        [henceforth refered to as 'Anon.'] Mary died in infancy or early childhood, the details not expanded.

                                     1741        Thomas Gowlett [the elder] was buried at Uxbridge on the 15th November 1741 at Uxbridge noted 'Snr'
                                                     and according to Law she was buried in Wool 'Afft.' [buried in Wool - Affidavit]]

                                     1758        Thomas Gowlett [the younger] recorded issue parallel with William Gowlett [Gowlate] [c.1696-1768] at Uxbridge 
                                                      considered may have been his kin although the name Thomas does not appear in the issue of William or
                                                      the subsequent two generations. 

                                                      Thomas [the younger] wife Mary was buried at Uxbridge 29th November 1758  noted: 'wife of Thomas Gowlate'
                                                      and according to Law she was buried in Wool 'Afft.' [buried in Wool - Affidavit]]

                                      1760?       Their youngest known child, Mary Gowlett baptised 1733 [Anon] may be the same Mary Gowlett who married
                                                       John Page 16th April 1760 at Hillingdon noted ' both of Uxbridge',  she would have been aged 
                                                       twenty-seven at this time.  This entry could equally be Mary Gowlett [born 1729] the youngest daughter of 
                                                       William Gowlett [1696-1768] who was six years older.

                                      1779         Anon:  Thomas Gowlet [the younger] died in 1779 - details not extended.

                                      Note:       Anon attributes the lineage of William Gowlett [1696-1768] to Thomas Gowlett the elder however the 
                                                       baptism of the 2nd William, son of Thomas & Mary at Uxbridge in 1703 would cast doubt on this hypothesis
                                                       coupled with the absence of baptisms in the name 'Thomas' in William's issue and later those of his two sons.
